Transforming a Dark Home into a Spacious Oasis | Home Renovation Before and After in Rockwall

Painting Cabinets and Redefining Spaces:
We started by giving the cabinets a fresh coat of white paint to achieve a clean and modern look. The two-tier countertop system was eliminated to make room for a more open and spacious atmosphere. Brushed quartz countertops were added, along with a stunning new farmhouse sink chosen by the homeowner.
Functional and Aesthetic Upgrades:
The new farmhouse sink not only brought a touch of elegance but also accommodated modern conveniences like a soap dispenser and fresh water dispenser. To maintain a clutter-free look, we relocated existing plugs from the second tier down below the countertop. A sleek flush mount garbage disposal button was installed, matching seamlessly with the sink and faucet.
Revamping with the Tile System:
To ensure a cohesive design, we replaced the outdated backsplash with the new tile system selected by the homeowner. A unique touch was keeping the hood above and cabinetry below the stove top stained, adding color and two dimension to the kitchen. The shelving retained the same stain color, creating a harmonious flow throughout the space.
Expanding Beyond the Kitchen:
Our remodeling transformation extended beyond the kitchen, painting hallways, the entryway, and even the master bath. Yellowish-tan walls were replaced with a new color scheme featuring white ceilings, white trim, and a grayish-bluish wall color, instantly making the space feel larger and more vibrant. It feels like we’ve added an extra 1,000 square feet to the home.
